The Dream

November 5, 2009

I am in my bed trying to fall asleep.  I flip from left to right and stare at the ceiling for a while.  Everything about my day is being replayed in my mind. I would give anything to just fall asleep and escape to la la land. The next thing I know, I wake up in an elaborate forest filled with bright colored plants and mythical creatures. I do not know whether I am awake or still asleep, but I am kind of liking it. As I walk through the forest I pass by I see many unusual things. Then, I see him. The big hairy man himself, Sasquatch. “Sasquatch!” I yell. “Hello, Zach,” he replies, “what are you doing here?” “I’m not exactly sure,” I answer, “I guess I’m just admiring your wonderful forest.” He then thanks me and asks if I would like to take a dip in the Strawberry River. Of course I took up this offer because I knew it was a once in a life time chance. So we went tubing down the Strawberry River. I then realized how late it must be and told Sasquatch that I should be getting home. He asked me if I wanted to fly so we would get there faster. “You can fly?” I asked surprised. “Of course I can,” he responded. So I hopped on his back and we took off the ground. Then I realized how unreal this all was and that I must be dreaming. So then I woke up, back in my bedroom where I started. It was all a dream.

THE END
